Is Natural Skincare Better For Tattoos?

Is Natural Skincare Better For Tattoos?

Why it’s time to rethink our approach to tattoo aftercare

These days it’s become second nature to read food labels in the supermarket and only recently has it become mandatory to provide the origins of ingredients. We know so much more than we used to about the dangers of preservatives, additives and other potentially harmful ingredients so it’s no surprise more and more people are demanding organic options. And yet, despite how far we’ve come, we don’t give our skincare products the same attention.

Let’s talk about your largest organ, your skin

This means it not only absorbs nutrients but toxins too, which can be just as harmful to your body as if they were ingested. Now think about the state of your skin just after you’ve had it tattooed. It’s inflamed, super sensitive and extra vulnerable. And yet many tattoo aftercare products on the market contain harmful ingredients, formulated with pore-clogging ingredients that don’t let your skin breathe, therefore slowing down the healing process.

Raising the bar for tattoo Aftercare

The Aussie Inked research team spent over a year exploring ways to approach tattoo aftercare. We worked on creating a range that ticked all the boxes for tattoos minimizing the risk of harmful side effects and reactions. We’re using this research to create a unique Australian tattoo aftercare range that isn’t just organic, but revolutionary in the industry.

So what’s good and what’s bad for my skin?
